Details: Summer workouts take place in June & July and are a key part of building strong, focused Sharks before the season begins. It’s where the grind begins, the team bonds, and the foundation for a winning season is set.

Summer Calendar Raffle Fundraiser

Details: Each player will be given a July calendar and will collect sponsors for each available day. The number on the day equals the donation amount and the number of raffle tickets the sponsor receives. All proceeds directly support Southside Sharks Softball, with prize drawings held at the end of the month.

Field Work Day

Details: Every January, we kick off the season with Field Work Day—a fun, hands-on event where players, coaches, and families come together to prepare the field game day. We tackle tasks like weed eating, infield cutting, and pressure washing. It’s a great way to build community and pride in our program.

Family Fun Day Scrimmage (Teal vs White)

Details: Family Fun Day is held every January and is a free event open to all Shark families and friends. Enjoy lunch, laughs, and a friendly Teal vs. White showdown as our players face off in a fun exhibition game—it’s a great way to celebrate the Shark family before the season begins!
