Meet the 2025 Lady Sharks!

Head Coach: Paige Hulin

Coach Paige Hulin grew up in Mandeville, Louisiana, and graduated from Lakeshore High School. She continued her softball career at Copiah–Lincoln Community College and later at Mississippi College. Now in her second year as head coach of the Southside High School softball team, Coach Hulin is dedicated to building a strong, competitive program. Her ultimate goal is to lead the Lady Sharks to a state championship.

Abby Fontenot

12th Grade | #9 | 3B/1B

Abby has played varsity softball for three years, marched in band and powerlifted for four, and loves purple, animals, and reading. She plans to attend college to earn her RN and continue her powerlifting career.

Addison Sonnier

9th Grade | #18 | 1B

A freshman from Broussard, Louisiana who loves hanging out with family and friends. She plans to play softball in college.

Alaina Lemoine

12th Grade | #11 | C

A senior who loves spending money, grabbing CFA meals, and chatting with her BFFs—math is her least favorite subject. She dreams of being rich with a big house and hopes her Sharks can win a state title this year.

Allie Deville

10th Grade | #12 | OF/3B/C

A Southside High sophomore from Youngsville, LA who’s played on travel teams since childhood and is all‑in on being the best teammate this season. She aims to play college softball and pursue a career in pediatric medicine.

Annie Roy

9th Grade | #14 | 2B

A freshman from Lafayette who’s played softball for eight years, loves working out, and is a big fan of dogs. Annie hopes to play college softball, land a good-paying job, and raise athletic kids.

Aubree Bourque

9th Grade | #1 | 3B/Utility

A freshman with 10 years of softball experience who loves summer ball trips and time with family and friends. Aubree hopes to attend college, become a kindergarten teacher, and grow a small influencer platform around her teaching.

Ava Hegger

10th Grade | #23 | 1B

A dedicated student and supportive friend who loves art, painting, and improving in sports. Ava’s focused on becoming a stronger hitter, growing in the game, and graduating.

Briley Lovell

9th Grade | #5 | P/3B

A sushi-loving, funny freshman who started pitching at age seven and made varsity in seventh grade. Briley dreams of attending the University of Oklahoma and becoming an anesthesiologist.

Chloe’ Demouchet

11th Grade | #17 | 3B/P

Chloè loves Chipotle, pastel blue, and bringing good vibes to the field. She aims to stay positive, keep a high batting average, and fine-tune her mechanics.

Danielle Doctor

10th Grade | #21 | 1B/3B/P/RF

A South Carolina–born sophomore who enjoys working out, reading, hanging with friends, and catching up on sleep. Danielle hopes to play college softball and become a trainer.

Emma Clements

11th Grade | #20 | LF/P

A junior with a 3.8 GPA who’s been a varsity starter all three years. Emma plans to attend UL and study kinesiology to become a physical therapist.

Emmah Maurer

9th Grade | #13 | SS

Emmah started playing softball at nine and centers everything she does around her faith in Christ. She’s focused on building a stronger mindset, earning all A’s, and becoming a dermatologist.

Honor Burley

9th Grade | #6 | CF

A Youngsville native who loves God, softball, and staying focused on school and family. Honor aims to play college softball, graduate with a 4.0, and live her life guided by faith.

Jaci Gary

12th Grade | #2 | CF

A senior from Youngsville, LA, Jaci is committed to play softball at Northwest Florida State and enjoys running, reading, and time with loved ones. She plans to work with kids, start a big family like her grandmother, and grow up alongside her best friends

Jena LeCamus

12th Grade | #3 | SS

A Youngsville native with a 4.1 GPA, Jena has played softball for 14 years and is committed to Northwest Florida State, holding Southside’s record for stolen bases. She plans to major in business, start her own company, and continue her education—and possibly softball—at LSU or a D1 school.

Kaylee Delong

11th Grade | #10 | 2B/P

A junior with a 3.5 GPA, Kaylee has been on the softball team since freshman year, also played soccer, and enjoys working out and shopping. She plans to graduate, pursue a medical career, and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Kennedy Rawls

11th Grade | #15 | OF

A junior from Youngsville who loves spending time with friends and family. Kennedy plans to attend LSUE for ultrasound tech, grow in softball and life—and get rich!

Kobi Lam

12th Grade | #8 | OF

A 2025 grad with 12 years of softball experience, Kobi loves the gym and spending time with family and friends. She plans to play two years at LSUE, major in psychology or business, and build a successful career and a small family.

Lexi Reavis

9th Grade | #7 | OF

Born and raised in Youngsville, Lexi is the oldest of four, has played softball since age six, and grew up competing in five other sports. She aims to graduate with honors, start her own company, retire by 40, and bring success to those who’ve supported her.

At Southside, breaking a school record isn’t just an achievement—it’s a legacy. It takes more than talent; it takes relentless effort, fierce determination, and the will to rise above the rest. The athletes featured below have set new standards for excellence in Shark softball history. Their names now live among the greats. Fear the Fin.

Team Wins

The 2025 squad set a new standard with 22 wins—the most in Southside High’s history. This tank belongs to the Sharks. Fear the Fin!

Jena Lecamus

Senior Jena LeCamus stole her way into Southside history with unmatched speed, instinct, and determination. Her 52 stolen bases in 2025 shattered the single-season school record, setting a new standard for Shark softball. Fear the Fin and remember the name!

Briley Lovell

With 151 strikeouts in 2025, freshman Briley Lovell set the Southside record for most in a single season. Her composure, power, and precision made her a force every time she took the mound. This is only the start of her legacy.
