Details: Get ready to make waves with our Mega Shark Raffle launching in September. One lucky winner will reel in the grand prize of $5,000 cash, with plenty of chances for others to score exciting gift card prizes. The live drawing takes place December 19th—don’t miss your shot to support Southside Softball and swim away a winner!
Field Work Day

Details: Every January, we kick off the season with Field Work Day—a fun, hands-on event where players, coaches, and families come together to prepare the field game day. We tackle tasks like weed eating, infield cutting, and pressure washing. It’s a great way to build community and pride in our program.
Family Fun Day Scrimmage (Teal vs White)

Details: Family Fun Day is held every January and is a free event open to all Shark families and friends. Enjoy lunch, laughs, and a friendly Teal vs. White showdown as our players face off in a fun exhibition game—it’s a great way to celebrate the Shark family before the season begins!

Addison Sonnier
10th Grade |#18|C/1B
Addison enjoys listening to music, going to church, and spending time with friends and family, and she hopes to pursue a career as a physical therapist while continuing her softball career at Texas University.
Allie Deville
11th Grade | #12 | RF/CF
An 11th grade student at SHS, Allie is very involved in her academics, other sports, and clubs, and she enjoys spending time with her teammates while making new memories and hoping for a great season. She plans to pursue a degree in kinesiology, is currently looking at in-state colleges, and hopes to make a big impact this season while showing the next generation how to lead.
Amayah Castille
9th Grade | #25 | P/1B
Quiet and creative, Amayah enjoys coloring and listening to music, considers herself a math geek, and has danced for eight years, and she hopes to continue her softball career at FAMU while pursuing a role in the outfield or at first base.
Annie Roy
10th Grade | #14 | 2B/SS
A longtime softball player, Annie enjoys being with loved ones, going on vacations, and running, and she hopes to continue playing softball while creating a happy life, raising a family, and following what makes her truly happy.
Aubree Bourque
10th Grade | #1 |3B/SS
Aubree is 16, loves the color pink, enjoys traveling, and treasures time at Crumble. She hopes to play softball in college—Alabama being her dream school—and aspires to become a teacher and raise a family centered around Christ. #LetGo&LetGod
Avery Shadle
9th Grade | #7 | LF/2B
Avery has played softball for 10 years, enjoys aerial silks, playing piano since second grade, volleyball, and spending time with friends and family. She hopes to play softball at Tennessee in college and pursue a career as a dermatologist or esthetician, and if that doesn’t work out, she would like to become a cosmetologist.
Briley Lovell
10th Grade | #5| P/SS/3B
Briley loves spending time with family and friends and always wears mismatched socks. Her favorite food is sushi, her favorite subject is biology, and Jesus is at the center of her life. She hopes to become a sports medicine orthopedic, dreams of attending South Alabama, and wants everyone to know they can grow closer to Jesus. #AlwaysLockedIn #AGTG
Camorie Pillette
10th Grade | #3 | RF
Camorie loves singing and dancing and also plays the flute, enjoys powerlifting, and plays softball. She enjoys meeting new people and trying new things. She hopes to become a fashion designer and a famous singer.
Carleigh Romero
9th Grade | #11 | P/1B
Loving God and spending time with friends and family, Carleigh enjoys all things girly, shopping, and eating Mexican food in her free time. She hopes to become a sports medicine physician—possibly for a professional team—and wants to find a way to continue having softball in her life, whether playing in college or coaching later, while also maintaining her 4.0 GPA.
Chloe' Demouchet
12th Grade | #17 | 3B/P
Chloe’ is 17 and loves spending time with friends, shopping, and eating at Chipotle or Chili’s, and she considers her mom her best friend. She hopes to become famous and pursue a career as a labor and delivery nurse.
Danielle Doctor
11th Grade | #21| 1B/3B/LF/RF
Seventeen and raised mostly in Texas, Danielle now lives in Broussard and has one sister. She hopes to play softball in college and pursue a degree in physical therapy and athletic training.
Emma Clements
12th Grade | #20 | LF/P
Eighteen and a senior, Emma is a twin—her older brother was born just moments before her—and she also has a younger brother. Her favorite place to eat is Sushi Masa, and she plans to attend UL to study kinesiology, pursue a career in sports medicine, and find a job close to home.
Emmah Maurer
10th Grade | #13 |2B/SS
Emmah loves spending time with her friends and her favorite food is sushi. Her favorite subject is English, and she loves Jesus! She hopes to attend LSU to study either kinesiology or family development and pursue a career as a pediatric occupational therapist or physical trainer.
Honor Burley
10th Grade | #6| CF/LF?RF
Honor is 16 and loves God, crawfish, spending time with friends and family, running, listening to music, and practicing softball in her free time. She hopes to play softball at LSUE, become an accountant, maintain all A’s in high school, score a 32 on the ACT, and continue growing her relationship with God while having a family and lots of animals.
Iliana Medina

Iliana plays volleyball and softball and enjoys spending time with friends and family. She hopes to attend a university to study to become an ultrasound technician and would like to live in Houston.
Joyce Dong

Born in Brooklyn, New York, and now living in Louisiana since 2024, Joyce loves playing Roblox, eating, and hanging out with her friends, and she’s excited to play softball at Southside High School this year. She hopes to attend Duke University to study nursing, and she dreams of marrying a rich man and retiring early. #PleaseJesus

Lauren loves hanging out with her friends, her favorite color is pink, and she jokingly admits she always forgets her belt. She hopes to become a teacher, improve her softball skills to consistently hit the ball, and pass ELA.
Kennedy Rawls
12th Grade | #15 | CF
Eighteen and a senior, Kennedy has one older sister, loves sushi, and enjoys spending time with friends and family. After graduation, she plans to become a dental assistant and hopes to grow a family in the future.
Kinsley Leblanc
9th Grade | #24 | C/2B/3B/C
Kinsley is 15 and excited for this season, with a passion and love for the game of softball. She hopes to work hard in her academics and earn a scholarship to pursue her dreams.
Rylan Louviere
9th Grade | #19| 3B/C
Fifteen years old, Rylan has a younger brother and an older sister, loves hanging out with friends, and considers her mom her best friend. Her favorite food is Mexican, and she hopes to play softball throughout high school, attend college to become a physical therapist, and raise a family.
Mckenna Maillet
9th Grade | #72| OF
McKenna is 14 and enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and she loves sushi, Jesus, books, and dogs. She hopes to finish high school with a GPA above 3.5 and pursue a career as a pediatrician.
